Photography isn't just a job to me, it's a passion. I love photographing houses as each one is unique and different than the last one. There's a saying that most of us have heard that goes something like this "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
I do my real estate photography a little different from most photographers in the area. Most photographers do real estate photography in HDR. What this means is that they take multiple different exposures and then blend them with software. Things like improper white balance and dull or flat pictures result from interior HDR. I bring in my own lighting and manually blend ambient exposures and "lighted" exposures from my flashes creating a sharper image.
I use a full frame Canon 5D Mark IV and the 24-105mm lens for exteriors and 11-24 lens for interiors. I also bring in flashes and monolights to accurately capture the real colors of a room producing a vibrant and realistic image.
